Week 02

During the last week, I was focusing on my target audience, which is the elderly and to think of the services provided in my space.

I had a "one-stop" life to death centre in my mind which provide services like temporary nursing house (when they were informed they were about to die) and some activities of self-portraying via mediums such as drawing and sculpturing.



My medium would be a art installation to represent the cycle of life. 
A shattering garment= the diminishing of life on earth
Flowers/ plants= returning to the nature like all the other lives do.



After lecture, I was told to narrow down my target audiences and activities as the range covered was too general and board, thus, I decided to focus on younger generation, for example: children who is between 5-13. 

As death is always a taboo to talk about, it's also harder for them to comprehend the concept of "death" at their tender age.


I also listed down some possible activities in my space briefly.





To better visualize the new graveyard I have in mine, I did a collage art for better visualization.





This is going to be the focus/ highlight art installation/ graveyard in my space which the deceased and families come together to create art and plant "afterlife" plant.
