Week 02.01

 In order to further develop my idea of a new memorial land (aka the graveyard), I continue to look for more information of current scene of funeral.

To my surprise, in 2011, an artist had come out of a burial suite which allows the "infinity mushroom" to compost our body.

Other than this, in 2019, two Italians, Anna Citelli and Raoul Bretzel had design a new pod for the deceased and eventually if will become the nutrition of a tree. This converts a body into a tree and it fits into my idea of  "life after life".

Allowing body to return to its root without adding further burdens to the mother nature, this will getting more acceptable in the future and becoming one of the arrangement which you can do with your beloved one.

These researches and news have inspired me to develop and design a more sustainable graveyard/ memorial land.
